There are many organizations that help and support animals.  These are just of few that deal with emergency and financial assistance.

SNAP (Spay Neuter Action Project) mission is to ensure there are no more homeless pets in San Diego County. SNAP works to eliminate pet overpopulation through education and programs that promote and facilitate spaying or neutering pets in San Diego County. 

San Diego County, Dept. of Animal Control There are many dogs and cats looking for a forever and loving home. If you thinking about bringing in an animal to your family, visit the County of San Diego's Animal Services Department.

Humane Society of United State - Disaster Preparedness: The key to survival during a disaster, crisis or emergency is to be as prepared as possible before the storm hits.

Project Wildlife: Project Wildlife improves quality of life for local wildlife and the community as the primary resource for animal rehabilitation and education source for San Diego County.   

Pets are Wonderful Support (PAWS)  PAWS San Diego provides comprehensive services for the therapeutic companion animals of low income persons who are elderly, disabled or chronically ill.

The Pet Fund: The goal of the Pet Fund is to provide financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care.

Pet Assistance Foundation of San Diego County  The Pet Assistance Foundation of San Diego refers pet owners to veterinarians offering low-cost spay and neuter services for cats, dogs, and rabbits.

San Diego Humane Society and SCPA  The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA provides vital services to animals and people alike through sheltering and adopting animals, providing positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable animals.
